Shared Ownership, Shared Experiences: How David and Max found their ideal home in Ellesmere Port

David moved back into his family home 12 years ago with the goal of saving for a deposit to purchase his forever home. However, as interest rates and housing prices rose, the properties within his budget no longer met his needs.

As he shared with us:

Once I began my search for a new home, I quickly realised that any property within my budget would require extensive work, and it simply wouldn’t have been the right fit for me.

During his search for an affordable yet livable home, David discovered Shared Ownership. This opportunity allowed him to invest in a larger home at a more accessible price. Today, David lives in a beautiful property at The Coppice in Ellesmere Port with his dog, Max.

He told us:

My home has everything I need, it’s warm, safe, and comfortable. I’m still close to great local amenities, my family, and work.
